Mentor High School Rutgers Future Scholars

“Mentor High School Rutgers Future Scholars” is a new Topics in Africana Studies course for Spring 2016 (01:-14:302:02, index number 18321). The course is designed to “reach out and raise up” Rutgers Future Scholars in grades 9 through 12 in New Brunswick and Piscataway. Mentors will earn 3 college credits. The course will also fulfill major/minor requirements in Africana Studies as well as general education requirements. In addition to a weekly class recitation, mentors will also meet weekly with their assigned scholars throughout the semester for 20-30 hours.
